Through this program we provide funds for underprivileged families with children challenged by autism and cerebral palsy. The funds are provided in order to achieve two goals: to purchase iPads with applications especially suited for the children to communicate, learn, express their feelings and needs, and to pay for ABA Therapy that helps children with autism learn to communicate and function effectively, and aids in their education.

A lot of us know how expensive diapers and special baby foods are, let alone when our child gets ill and needs medicine. There are numerous families in Israel that need to continue purchasing these necessities for their children long after they are babies or toddlers, in some cases for years and decades. The ILAI Fund aims to lighten some of this financial burden.

Most able-bodied people do not appreciate the importance and the central role of movement in everyday life and are privileged to not think twice about it. For a lot of children assisted by the ILAI Fund, movement is never taken for granted. They struggle or are unable to walk because of various disabilities, illnesses, and injuries and they need special equipment to grant them the ability to move and gain the independence able-bodied people take for granted. We are honored to assist families with special needs children in the purchase of this equipment.

How convenient it is to be able to jump into a car and drive anywhere we need: to take our children to the park, school, doctor. Unfortunately, some families with special needs children are unable to do so because they cannot get their wheelchair into the car. A special lift is necessary in order to make that possible. The ILAI Fund prides itself on helping families afford this incredibly expensive, necessary piece of equipment.

Seeing a child hear for the first time is a truly emotional experience. Mother's voice. Music. Birds singing. Laughter. The ILAI Fund prides itself on assisting deaf and hard of hearing children by providing funds for hearing aids and hearing implants.
