A lot of us know how expensive diapers and special baby foods are, let alone when our child gets ill and needs medicine. There are numerous families in Israel that need to continue purchasing these necessities for their children long after they are babies or toddlers, in some cases for years and decades. The ILAI Fund aims to lighten some of this financial burden.

Through this project, we assist needy families in the purchase of medicine, special food and diapers.

A feeding tube is a medical device used to provide nutrition to people who cannot obtain nutrition by mouth, are unable to swallow safely, or need nutritional supplementation. Feeding tubes are used widely in children with excellent success for a wide variety of conditions. Some children use them temporarily until they are able to eat on their own, while other children require them longterm, some even for their entire lives. The special food that is to be fed through these tubes is expensive, and we step in to help cover the costs.

Diapers can be necessary for children with various conditions. Some of the special children we care for have to wear diapers their entire lives. This is very expensive, and we step in to help lighten this burden.
